New year – new faces. Welcome, Steve Kasper!

Steve Kasper enforced Kunlun Red Star coaching staff joining Igor Kravchuk as Bobby Carpenter’s assistant.
During 13 seasons in the NHL, Steve played 821 game scoring 468 (177+291) points and adding 94 appearances in Stanley Cup with 48 points (20+28). In 1988 Kasper’s Boston Bruins reached the Big Finals only to be beaten by Edmonton Oilers. Ironically, nest season he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings for … Bobby Carpenter.
In fact, Steve Kasper is a new face only for Kunlun’s KHL team. But he is no stranger to the club as he works for Kunlun since last summer coordinating our activities in North America.
As far Kasper’s coaching experience is concerned, he spent two years at the helm of the Boston Bruins replacing Brian Sutter as head coach in 1995–96. From 2009 to 2015 he was a scout and director of pro scouting for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
